CAREGIVER SUPPORT
TFL is committed to providing continual support to our caregivers and the children we serve. We maintain a successful support system for our Caregivers, families of adoption, and after-care services for reunified families as well as emancipated young adults.

24- Hour Consultation
We take a prevention-first approach to challenges by providing on-going consultation and immediate intervention by highly qualified professionals 24-hours a day. By finding realistic solutions before drastic actions are needed we are able to dramatically reduce the need for psychiatric hospitalizations and unnecessary removal.

Trainings
TFL’s professional team of trainers provides interactive teaching to our Caregivers, specifically designed to equip them with clinical knowledge and hands-on techniques necessary to manage children’s specific challenges. Each session is expressly designed to offer support to our families and their support staff. All efforts are made to accommodate the foster parent’s busy schedules by providing trained supervision and activities for the children placed in their home when necessary.

Reimbursements
We offer a generous daily living subsidy to foster parents to reimburse the cost of everyday care for children placed in their home. We also offer compensation for childcare to encourage our Caretakers to take a quarterly respite.

Foster Group Homes
Our Foster Group Homes service between seven and twelve, special needs, children at a time, providing them positive peer reinforcement guidance, around the clock care and supervision. Each home has a primary caregiver who is committed to teaching, nurturing, and protecting children as well as taking an active role in the therapy and healing process for each child during these difficult life transitions.

Therapeutic Family Homes
Therapeutic Family homes offer a placement for up to six children at a time. As with our Foster Group Homes our caretakers are committed to providing a caring, structured family environment to each child for whom they care.
