Our qualified staff offers a wide range of skills necessary for successful adult living. We provide extensive instruction and hands on experience in: banking and budgeting, cooking and food preparation, cleaning and laundry, driving and road safety, parent modeling and child development, and health and fitness.

Marlinda Children’s Ranch (MCR) - is an agency owned, therapeutic group home located in Orange, TX. The Ranch deals exclusively with adolescent boys who require a more intensely structured environment. The Ranch has a capacity for twelve boys, ages seven through seventeen. It’s located on 40 acres and includes a spacious ranch-style home, a swimming pool, a tennis court and areas for go-cart riding, basketball and horseback riding.

Smith Group Home (SGH)- Located 5 miles north of Marlinda Children’s Ranch is also a verified therapeutic group home that provides care for up to twelve adolescent boys needing a highly structured environment . The large six bedroom, two-story home is situated on 1.5 acres surrounded by beautiful oak trees. The children enjoy many planned activities and outings as well as specialized educational and treatment plans, and professional therapy and supervision.

Yesterday’s New Tomorrow (YNT) – a TFL owned group home for girls. The large home is located in a nice neighborhood in south Austin near business establishments and public transportation, making it easy for the girls to work jobs and navigate the bus system. Service include: specialized treatment plans, professional therapy, and supervision, opportunities for employment in the Austin area, opportunities to participate in activities at school and in the community, and a behavior management level system in the home.

Recreation
TFL offers a unique recreational campus in Creedmoor, TX, just south of Austin. The ranch atmosphere offers fun and entertainment in a safe, protected environment. From the year-round heated swimming pool, to the go-cart track, to the miniature horses, this site is sure to please all! Whether the children are enjoying the sun, horseback riding or playing basketball, Creedmoor is the perfect place for family bonding and relaxation.
